Shmekla & Vaiper – the old residents of an independent Lithuanian urban/hip hop stage. In 2004 they produced their album „Iš kitos ekrano puses“, which became classic of Lithuanian hip hop. In 2006 they were awarded for the best hip hop project in A.LT Awards (alternative music awards), nominated for the best group, best beat maker (Vaiper) ir Lithuanian Hip Hop Awards. In Year 2005 Vaiper wins Lithuanian Internet Beat Makers Battle & official MC BATTLE of Lithuania. The Same MC Battle wins Despotin' Fam member Liezhuvis in 2006 and 2007.

They are also members of A.I.R. live music community. Now they working with Spaghetti Jazz Trio and whole Despotin' Fam to preparing a new album and Live Performance. Have a good relations with the Best Lithuanian artists and groups. Played alongside: Dj Vadim & Yarah Bravo, Afu Ra, Jeru the Damaja, Killa Kela, G & G Sindikatas... The story continues shortly
