GROL is a propagandic gore black/death/grind metal band worshiping the great Beerkhult. GROL (firstly named “Grinding Gremlin”) was founded in 2002 by Disruptor (drums, guitars, bass and vomitory). During two years main riffs of such cult songs as “Grinding Gremlin”, “A Step In To A Shit” and “Inspiration of Obstructions” were written. However this grinding idea appears very hard to materialize because of the lack of brutal-heads in Lithuania.
Nevertheless the real regurgitation starts in 2004 when the mad scientist Thrigger joins as a guitar grinder. He soon upgrades the band to the true anal standards. A month later a bass guitar crusher Necrocannibal joins the band. He evokes the awaited blow-up of stench and brutality. Few months later the vocalist Pizius joined the band. He appeared to be a brutal gore regurgitator. The first act on scene in July 2004 in open air festival was very successful. A testimony of that is the publics’ award for the most technical band of the festival.
Already in October 2004, GROL is supporting CANNIBAL CORPSE during their visit in Lithuania. Intensive concert activities did not prevent from studio works. In February 2005 GROL presents the first album "True Stench Never Dies". The very small run of only 130 self-released copies gets the status: Total Sold Out.
In collaboration with Japan label BloodBath Records, the awaited factory release is now available to public.
The summer of 2005 brought new vocalist to the band - Guthural. The young brutal-minded head seems doing his job perfectly while Pizius keeps spreading the stench and hoping to consume all the beer on the universe.
The beginning of 2006 was the period of changes in GROL. Surprisingly NECROCANNIBAL leaves the band and shortly joins another death metal band MANDRAGORA. Soon GROL finds the new bass crasher TASSPIAS, who is famous of playing his own-made guitars.
At the same time GROL tries to recruit the second guitarist. The new face is BACHAS (ex-GODZERO).
During the Spring of 2006 GROL made a Lithuanian tour with the new line-up and extremly different black-death project called "GROL de Nocte".
The summer is the time when the consumption of beer increses to mysterious amounts. Unfortunately BACHAS cannot contribute enough of his for GROL. TASSPIAS decides to sell his own made bass guitar and take into the hands another masterpiece of him - the lead Guitar. The search for the new bass player starts... and soon ends - the new bass torturer is DEFLESHED (also playing in MURDER SITE).
Now GROL is returning to gore/brutal ideas. Drinking more beer and working on new songs.

GROL is like a troll but drinks as much as 2 and defecates/vomits/stinks as 3 (having in mind that a troll is already more capable than a human). GROL is nothing unreal. It's reality, the mirror of what is going on in everyday's life - the METAL way of life.
