SVARTVIT
Svartvit is a Dutch harsh noise project that was started in 2008 by sound artist Kevin Jansen. Svartvit takes influences from a wide spectrum including but definitely not limited to; Vienna Aktionism, socio-political topics, underground punk music, Russian constructivism as well as his contemporaries like Sword Heaven, The Rita, Prurient & Vomir.

ARNO ŠĶIPARS
The Video Home System (better known by its abbreviation VHS) is a consumer-level analog recording videotape based cassette standard and was the dominant Home Video format, lasting throughout the tape format period.
In mid 90's in Latvia, there were a lot of VHS rent spots emerged mashed together with video gaming or video watching rooms as a new experience and entertainment for the masses.
There was also a tradition to rent this new kind of media, VHS cassettes and a player, for 24h watching marathon at home together with friends and neighbours.
That is what we will try to do, but not for 24h. We chose to show VHS stuff and invite you to join this audio visual excursion to not so distant past.
